Opportunity Description
Job Title: CEI Inspector Work Location: Milledgeville, GA (District 2) Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor the contractor's on-site construction activities, performing inspections, and conducting field material sampling and testing to ensure conformance to project plans and specifications
- Conduct a wide variety of materials testing, construction inspections and monitoring of traffic controls.
- Perform field sampling and testing of soil density, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials
- Perform routine field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, GDOT or other standards
- Ensure quality assurance is maintained.
- Inspect contractor's traffic control during transportation construction project.
