Celebrate Recovery and Addiction Specialist

One of the biggest challenges that homeless youth face is overcoming drug and alcohol addictions. Thus, the Celebrate Recovery and addiction specialist will work with the homeless youth to help them overcome their addictions. As these young people begin to leave their addictions their odds of getting off the streets and staying off the streets go up dramatically.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop individualized assessment and treatment planning

Addiction counseling and support

Relapse prevention strategies

Spiritual guidance and healing

Educate the community about addiction

Follow-up and after care with youth

Skill Requirements

Addiction counseling experience

Ability to connect with homeless youth, showing genuine care, and understanding

Effectively respond to crisis situations and substance abuse
