Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge of theory and practice necessary in providing treatment. Follows specific treatment procedures as directed by the supervising occupational therapist, including preparing the patient for treatment, informing and educating the patient in treatment indications and contraindications, performing treatment procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation equipment. May administer standardized, structured tests under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

• Maintains accurate records of each patient's treatment, progress, and/or regression according to the Service Delivery Standard using paper or electronic systems, as necessary. Maintains all necessary records required to meet the criteria established by reimbursement and regulatory agencies. Maintains confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
