Certified Orthotist or Orthotics Resident (One Position), Saskatoon

SaskAbilities provides professional Orthopaedic services to thousands of Saskatchewan clients each year. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Orthotics department in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will join a team of 3 Orthotists and 4 Technicians to provide services for the northern half of the province. Saskatoon is a vibrant city on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. The city is known for its natural beauty, friendly community and diverse cultural offerings. Duties

• Perform patient evaluation and treatment planning related to orthotic devices for diverse patients; paediatric to senior.
• Provide education to, and discuss treatment options, with clients.
• Communicate and collaborate with inter-professional health care teams in Saskatchewan.
• Design and direct the fabrication of an orthosis to meet client needs.
