Key Roles & Responsibilities
Check detailed fabrication drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Review GA (General Arrangement) drawings, assembly drawings, and shop drawings.
Verify dimensions, connections, bolt details, weld details, and member marks.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes/standards.
Cross-check drawings against approved design calculations and structural drawings.
Review material lists, BOM (Bill of Materials), and NC files.
Identify detailing errors and coordinate corrections with detailers.
Ensure proper erection sequence and constructability of structures.
Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, and Project teams.
Maintain quality standards and drawing release schedules.
Support fabrication and site teams by resolving drawing-related queries.
