Opportunity Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your designated kitchen section.
• Assisting with the daily operation of the kitchen while maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation.
• Monitoring food preparation and ensuring all meals are produced in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards.
• Supervising and supporting junior kitchen staff within your section when required.
• Ensuring ingredients are properly stored, labelled, and rotated in accordance with FIFO principles.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work area in compliance with food safety and WHS requirements.
• Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
