Opportunity Description
Starrycare is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to deliver high-quality, nutritious, and well-presented meals across our client sites. The role involves planning, preparing, and cooking meals that meet dietary, nutritional, and cultural requirements while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard Plan menus in line with nutritional guidelines and client requirements Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment Manage stock levels, ordering, and stock rotation Supervise and support Catering Assistants and kitchen staff Monitor portion control and minimise food waste Ensure correct use and maintenance of kitchen equipment Qualifications NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery, Catering, or equivalent Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and health & safety re...
