Chef De Partie - Franschhoek

Luxury Wellness Retreat & Hotel close to Franschhoek is looking for a Chef de Partie. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef that will be focused on producing dishes from the onsite garden where you will harvest daily to make nourishing meals centred around seasonal vegetables; with protein as a side. The food is fresh, healthy, abundant and flavourful, bringing together the colours of each season. You should hold a calm presence under pressure and have the ability to communicate well with guests, kitchen staff and front of house team members.

Duties

• Ensure all necessary stocks are on hand at the right quality and quantity.
• Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
• Ensure detailed daily prep list is written and discussed with your fellow chefs and seniors.
• Ensure all Mise‑en‑place is always freshly prepared and on time.
• Taking care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by superiors.
