Job Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of Italian pastries according to recipes and presentation standards.Set up and organize the pastry section, ensuring all mise en place is ready for service.Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all pastry items.Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products.Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the pastry kitchen.Assist in developing new pastry items or seasonal dessert menus.Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients to ensure adequate stock.Collaborate with the culinary team to support special events, banquets, and promotions.Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any faults promptly.
