Job Description: Chemist - DRI I. Job Objective The Chemist is responsible for accurate sample preparation and conducting physical analysis of materials, directly reporting to and supporting the Senior Chemist to ensure consistent quality standards. II. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) 1. Quality Assurance & Operations Collect samples systematically from all plant beneficiation points. Inspect, verify, and collect samples of all incoming raw materials. Execute precise sample preparation for all incoming materials. Supervise loading points, collect samples, and perform standard physical analysis. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the laboratory area. Oversee the deployment of contract labor and report daily progress/issues to the Senior Chemist. 2. Planning & Inventory Control Plan and ensure the continuous availability of laboratory chemicals in alignment with SMFA Raw Material (RM), Work-in-Progress (WIP), and finished product testing frequencies. 3.
