Job Description SummaryThe Propeller Chief Consulting Engineer leads a team of engineering specialists to deliver the capability required by Dowty for development and maintenance of its existing and future products. The role is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining the capabilities for propellers, ensuring that both customer and business strategic objectives are achieved consistently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership of the Propellers technical pyramid and chair the Propellers Design Board.
• Accountable for delivery of Design Board objectives across all focus areas.
• Engage with Engineering Discipline Leaders to agree competences and development plans for team members.
• Lead, support, and develop the Controlled Title Holder (CTH) team: recruitment, induction, career development, appraisal, training, coaching, and mentoring.
