UMHC - SoleMia Radiology has an exciting opportunity for a Chief MRI Technologist position. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day operations and administrative duties ensuring efficient workflow of the section; compliance with budgetary policy; ensuring the highest quality diagnostic examinations; and compliance of State/Federal/Joint Commission regulations, department/hospital policies and procedures, objectives and philosophy. The Chief is accountable for the efficient patient throughput and 24-hr supervisory responsibility of department and of all departmental staff member's scheduling, technical guidance, and performance improvement. The chief technologist position involves performing diagnostic/job duties as required of an MRI technologist at a level that will require no supervision of technical details.
