Chief Officer (C/o) Carcarrier

Step into the role of Chief Officer on a modern car carrier trading worldwide. As part of OSM Thome’s deck team, you will support the Master in safe vessel operations, cargo handling, and crew management across global routes.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Assist the Master in safe navigation and vessel operations
- Plan and supervise loading, stowage and discharge of vehicles
- Lead and manage the deck crew in day-to-day work
- Oversee deck maintenance, safety routines and inspections
- Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS and company procedures
- Monitor stability, draft, ballast and cargo securing
**Requirements**:
- Valid Chief Officer unlimited (STCW II/2) license
- Sea experience as Chief Officer or 1st Officer, preferably on car carriers / Ro-Ro vessels
- Valid STCW certificates, medical and seaman’s documents
- Strong cargo planning and stability knowledge
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and team leadership skills
