Position Overview

The Chief of the Operations Section within the Capacity Development and Implementation (CDI) Bureau is responsible for planning, organising, staffing, directing, and controlling operations. The role maximises efficiency of resources, ensures delivery of capacity‑development and implementation support solutions, and aligns activities with the CDI Operating Plan, ICAO’s Triennial Business Plan and the ICAO Strategic Plan 2026‑2050. The position reports directly to the Deputy Director, CDI, and supervises all staff of the Section, consultants, and external contractors.
