Chief Underwriting Officer

About the Role

The Chief Underwriting Officer (Senior Vice President, Underwriting) is responsible for leading underwriting strategy across Treaty, Facultative, Lloyd's and MGA retrocession portfolios. The role drives portfolio performance, governance and growth, while supporting the expansion of Re-Takaful capabilities across new markets and territories. This role is open to Malaysian nationals only.

Key Responsibilities

1. Underwriting Strategy & Governance

• Define and execute underwriting strategies aligned to business objectives
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, risk frameworks and governance standards
• Maintain oversight of technical underwriting decisions across all lines
