A Child Nutrition employee who works in an individual cafeteria must be able and willing to perform any and all of the following duties as assigned by the manager:

• Serve food on the cafeteria line.
• Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning up for breakfast and lunch.
• Utilizing commercial kitchen equipment in the preparation of menu items.
• Performs daily clean-up procedures (dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.).
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift up to 40 lbs., and be able to perform repetitive tasks (preparing food, serving food, cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping, etc.).
• Must be able to lift and carry trays and/or pans containing liquid or solid foods up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to read and comply with recipes.
• Be willing to work at different schools.
