Childhood Education Teacher

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Works closely with leadership to manage daily operations of the university childcare center, including advising and directing student employees and teaching assistants

+ Plans and implements weekly lesson plans based upon the approved curriculum to meet the needs and interests of the children

+ Develops center childcare and programming regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and maintain licensing and registration

+ Contributes to monthly newsletters and other informative materials for families and community members on various childcare development topics

+ Performs daily operations, such as delivering meals and sanitizing surfaces

+ Participates in center activities and events for students and their families

+ Other duties as assigned
