Children's Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

Our client Bury council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities team.

Responsibilities include:

Assessing the needs of children with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, complex health needs, or other additional needs.
Completing statutory assessments under relevant children's legislation.
Developing and reviewing care and support plans.
Safeguarding children who may be at risk of neglect, abuse, or exploitation.
Working closely with families, schools, health professionals, therapists, and other agencies.
Coordinating services such as respite care, direct payments, specialist support, and short breaks.
Supporting transitions to adulthood for older teenagers.
Attending child protection conferences, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
