Class 1 Driver

Pay Rate: £37,015.68 - overtime paid at standard rate.
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday – Friday days – Start time between 4am and 8am
Location: Thirsk

We’re now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to complete RDC deliveries and support shunting when required.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience
