Opportunity Description
Class 1 (HGV) Driver - Weekdays | £17.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) Driver for weekday work involving general haulage.
Job Details:
- Start time: 07:00 (Monday to Friday)
- Pay rate: £17.50 per hour
- Work type: General haulage
- Drops: 2-3 deliveries per day
- No weekend work required (weekdays only)
Responsibilities:
- Safe and timely delivery of goods to customer sites
- Completing 2-3 drops per shift
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Following all road transport regulations and company procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous HGV Class 1 experience preferred
- Good communication and timekeeping
