Client Accounting Specialist- Hybrid- Multiple Locations

Our client is seeking a Client Accounting Specialist responsible for managing the financial and billing functions for an assigned portfolio of attorneys and clients within a sophisticated law firm environment. Silicon Valley, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Seattle, or Santa Monica — all hybrid.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review client and matter setups for compliance with engagement terms

- Produce and distribute prebills for attorney review

- Process billing adjustments, write-downs, transfers, discounts, and edits

- Generate and distribute client invoices per firm and client requirements

- Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow collection policies

- Negotiate payment arrangements and escalate delinquent accounts

- Research and resolve billing disputes

- Utilize Aderant, ARCS, EIS, and reporting tools

- Support reporting and financial analysis activities
