Clinical Associate (Cardiothoracic Surgery)

You will assist in all aspects of pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Suitable candidates will be offered employment on a 1-year contract.

Requirements

• A recognised basic medical degree
• Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
• At least 5 years’ post-housemanship training in the relevant field, of which a minimum of 3 years must be in the cardiothoracic or general surgery area
• A good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Documented proof of:
  • Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity
  • Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect...
