Key Roles and Responsibilities
Plan, implement and oversee the agency’s counselling services and programmes to ensure professional standards, quality assurance and effective care for service users. Provide clinical supervision, case consultation and professional guidance to counselling staff. Prepare reports on counselling services, programme outcomes, and service performance. Conceptualise, implement, and manage community outreach initiatives focusing on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Establish and maintain strong networks and collaborations with mental health professionals, healthcare providers, and relevant stakeholders. Prepare and manage budgets, funding proposals, and grant applications for counselling services and programmes.
