Overview
This is a 12‑month post within the Paediatric Plastic Surgical service at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Birmingham Children’s Hospital is a specialist tertiary referral centre treating paediatric patients with plastic surgical problems from across the West Midlands and beyond. The post offers broad experience of children’s hand and upper limb surgery, including brachial plexus surgery, vascular anomalies, surgery for cleft lip and/or palate, facial palsy (including corneal re‑innervation) and all aspects of burn care in children. Experience in craniofacial surgery can be gained during the post, and a separate craniofacial fellowship is available for those who wish to specialise further.
Responsibilities
