Clinical Lead Nurse - Older Adults

Responsibilities

As Clinical Team Lead for the North Bucks Older Adult CMHT (Aylesbury), you will work alongside the Deputy Team Managers to support the Consultant Psychiatrists (Clinical Lead) and Team Manager (Operational Lead), providing clinical and leadership support to the wider team.

• Act as a clinical expert, taking a lead role in advancing the development of clinical practice and providing evidence‑based holistic patient care within a variety of settings, including the patient’s residence and community care settings. Undertake highly complex assessment of presenting condition through to diagnosis, treatment, discharge, and the administration of medication within agreed clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Manage a small number of complex patients.
