Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Summary The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist Ambulatory Care/Operations works independently at the highest level of clinical practice within Ambulatory Care at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center and the associated community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs), as an integral part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The incumbent will practice in the Home-Based Primary Care setting servicing Toledo/Findlay/Jackson/Adrian area Veterans (60%) and in the dispensing Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist role (40%). Responsibilities Clinical Practice: Promote the appropriate, economical, safe, and effective use of medication therapy through maintaining independent Ambulatory Care clinical pharmacy practice(s). The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist role will be in Home-Based Primary Care.
