Decisions about donor files and the suitability of donated tissue are among the most important that are made here at NHS Blood & Transplant. Because those calls save lives. And sometimes there's a ticking clock. Getting the decisions right takes a clinical expert with specialist knowledge, great empathy, and superb communication skills. That's where you come in.
As our recognised expert for the clinical sign-off of live and deceased donor files, you'll make vital decisions about the suitability of donated tissue. Youll support two vital programmes here at NHSBT: Autologous and Allogenic Serum Eye Drops and Live Surgical Bone. Whether or not you authorise suitability, youll be helping to save the lives of patients and change the lives of their families.
