Job Summary
The clinical support specialist responds to patient inquiries, assists with appointment scheduling and confirmation, and assists clinicians with all office needs. This role is responsible for maintaining clinical files and documents while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Update and maintain patient medical records, including visit details, insurance and contact information.
+ Service patient after visit with appropriate paperwork, schedule follow-up appointment, send out medical records as requested, and answer any patient inquiries.
+ Work closely with clinical team lead to ensure smooth patient flow in the operational areas.
+ Maintain exam rooms to appropriate regulatory standards.
+ Maintain patient confidentiality.
+ Receive incoming phone calls and distribute messages appropriately.
