Clinical Support Worker for Pulmonary Rehabilitation

We are seeking a full‑time Clinical Support Worker to support Pulmonary Rehabilitation in Barrow under the Community Respiratory Service. This temporary contract is funded until March 2027, with the potential for renewal. The closing date for applications is 17 June 2026 . The role is based in Alfred Barrow Health Centre.

Responsibilities

• Phone patients to discuss and explain the PR programme, and arrange appointments.
• Deal with patients in a kind, respectful and sensitive manner when they contact the team.
• Work with the clinical team to assess patients with chronic lung disease for the group programme, including walk‑tests, observation tests, strength tests and supporting patients to complete symptom questionnaires.
