Clinical Support Worker – SAU/SSDEC

Based within Surgery across SAU and SDEC, you will support inpatients across specialties including ENT, Urology and Orthopaedics. Working alongside Registered Nurses, you will deliver personalised, dignified care–assisting with daily living, monitoring vital signs, supporting clinical procedures, and maintaining a safe, clean, well‑stocked environment.
This fast‑paced setting offers variety every day. You will develop key clinical skills including recording observations (respirations, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation), venepuncture (where trained), safe patient handling, and accurate documentation using NerveCentre.
