Overview

Clinical Teaching Fellowship in Medical Education – Psychiatry, located at NHS Lanarkshire's Department of Medical Education, seeks enthusiastic individuals to develop teaching and training expertise.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver undergraduate medical teaching, mainly in Psychiatry, and support other educational curricula as appropriate.
• Support the development and delivery of NHSL simulation and skills‑based teaching programmes for undergraduate, postgraduate trainees, and school pupils.
• Contribute to case‑based learning sessions at the University of Glasgow, OSCE development and examination.
• Attend regular group meetings to review educational outcomes, provide peer support, and develop ongoing educational activity.
• Act as the first point of pastoral support for medical students on placement in NHSL, with sub‑dean support.
