Opportunity Description

Overview

We are seeking to appoint Clinical Teaching Fellows (CTFs) to support the ongoing delivery of the graduate entry MBChB programme within the Three Counties Medical School (TCMS) at the University of Worcester. The School’s MBChB curriculum is centred around problem-based learning (PBL), active applied learning (e.g. simulation), with an emphasis on early patient contact and community-oriented clinical placements. Founded with the aim of widening access to careers in medicine and retaining graduates in the local area, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team, which opened to students in September 2023.

Responsibilities

  • Appoint Clinical Teaching Fellows at 0.6 FTE (3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in Anatomy, Physiology and Clinical Skills.
  • Develop and deliver active learning sessions in the practical application of anatomy, physiology and clinical skills, primarily in Phase 1 (Years 1&2).
