Position Overview

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team in supporting the Lead Veterinarian on Auckland Council’s vital desexing campaign. The role is a purely clinical position, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality care to animals across four shelters without financial discussions with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on clinical care supporting Auckland’s desexing campaign.
• Perform surgeries, conduct consultations, and deliver high‑quality medical care.
• Offer advice and training to Animal Management staff to uphold animal welfare and professional standards.
• Work across multiple shelter locations and contribute to community education initiatives.
• Maintain hygiene, record‑keeping, and collaboration in a busy shelter setting.
