Opportunity Description
**Job Title: CNC Mill Set-Up Operator / Machinist**
**Job Description**
This role is a hands-on CNC mill set-up operator position in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will set up and operate multiple CNC HAAS milling machines, perform quality checks, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications using precision measuring tools and G&M code edits on Fanuc controls.
**Responsibilities**
+ Retrieve raw materials from the staging area and prepare them for production.
+ Load bar stock and various types of metals into CNC HAAS milling machines.
+ Set up and operate a cell of three CNC milling machines, performing approximately three set-ups per day.
+ Run first-piece parts and perform 100% quality checks to validate set-up and part conformity.
+ Run production parts and perform quality checks on at least one part every hour.
+ Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and profiling tools to verify parts meet specifications.
