CNC Miller/Turner - Mazak

Amplify A leading precision engineering business in Poole is looking for a CNC Miller/Turner (Mazak) to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on machine shop role where quality matters, the work stays varied, and you will be trusted to run your own jobs from set-up through to inspection. Shift pattern (rotating) Early Shift (2 weeks): Mon-Thurs 6:00am-2:15pm, Fri 6:00am-12:00pm Late Shift (2 weeks): Mon-Thurs 2:15pm-10:15pm, Fri 12:00pm-7:30pm What you will be doing Read and work from engineering drawings to produce components to spec Select the right tooling and workholding for each job Set machines using set-up sheets, and feedback any improvements or corrections needed Prove out programs (both proven and unproven) and support continuous improvement Manufacture parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards Complete your own initial inspections and record quality documentation, including OEE data Maintain production targets and flag issues early to keep work flo...
