Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, provide programs for CNC punch presses, CNC laser, and CNC press brakes to manufacture parts as required to meet production plans and quality standards. Concurrently working with engineering and planning/procurement departments to ensure efficient operations and on time completions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Read and interpret prints and solid models.
+ Use Solid Works file packages to generate CNC code for punches and breaks from solid works models.
+ Reduce setup and punching/bending times through process improvements.
+ Manage, maintain, and deploy tooling when developing programs.
+ Generate setup sheets.
+ Provide feedback and input into process improvement within the department.
+ Write programs for new products ensuring compliance with all quality policies, solid models, prints, specifications, regulations and instructions.
