CNC Programmer

Create and/or edit manufacturing processes and workflows. Determine the methods and sequence for manufacturing operations of machined parts and assemblies, and ensure products and processes meet customer quality requirements. Create machine programs for 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture tight tolerance machined parts.

Essential Functions

+ Evaluates manufacturing processes by conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, machine programming, assembly, tooling, and materials, and soliciting observations from operators/production technicians.

+ Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Prepares work instructions to communicate manufacturing requirements to production personnel.
