Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 5+ years COBOL development experience (recent, hands-on)
- Strong experience in mainframe environments (IBM z/OS)
- Proven experience with: COBOL / ACUCOBOL
- Experience working on Employee benefits, retirement funds, core transactional systems (banking, insurance, policy admin, payments)
- Ability to analyse, maintain, and enhance existing legacy codebases and have strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Batch processing and high-volume transaction systems
- Modernisation/integration projects (API, .NET, Java, cloud)
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
