Opportunity Description
Our Client, a Cancer Center company, is looking for a Coder II for their Remote location. Responsibilities:
+ Compiles and keeps medical records of patients of health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment.
+ Checks medical records for completeness and to abstract and code clinical data, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems.
Requirements:
+ 3-5 years of experience
+ Surgical coder – multispecialty, oncology preferred
+ 5+ years exp in multispecialty
+ CPC cert
+ Only codes major surgeries so they are very complex to cover for 2 coders in FMLA for the next 3 months.
+ The team have total for 4 coders in FMLA
