Commercial Analyst

About The Role

Working closely with our Buying Leads, you will focus on delivery of financial analysis, data interpretation, modelling & reporting supporting a key strategic project at Gilmours. You will be submerged into the world of category management, providing crucial analysis of our current buying position for categories and suppliers to our buying team.

Responsibilities

• Insights from the Customer‑Driven project including range optimisation, pricing, data cleansing and integrity for decision making
• Support for the buying lead team with negotiation strategy and targets
• Measurement and reporting of the impact of changes to our members and leadership team
• Enhancement of reporting capabilities using the BI toolset for more accurate and actionable insights
• Tracking project milestones and ensuring alignment with business objectives
