What The Role Is
You will play an integral part in influencing the HDB heartland shops landscape – helping our shops play an important social role by providing convenient and affordable goods and services to nearby residents, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. The role spans policy development across commercial tenancy management, community facilities governance, and regulatory frameworks, with a strong focus on balancing affordability objectives with sustainable business models.
What You Will Be Working On
You will:
Lead policy reviews and implementation plans for heartland shops affordability/accessibility initiatives including Budget Meals, Price-Quality Management tendering frameworks, staggered rental policies, rental waiver schemes, and targeted assistance for Social Enterprises and innovative entrepreneurs.
