A leading commercial vehicle dealership is seeking an experienced 24‑Hour BREAKDOWN TECHNICIAN to join its Exeter team – providing roadside assistance across Devon and parts of Cornwall.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technician with previous dealership breakdown experience who enjoys variety, autonomy, and problem‑solving in the field.

The Role

The Breakdown Technician will carry out roadside diagnostics, fault‑finding, and repairs on commercial vehicles, ensuring drivers are safely back on the road as quickly as possible. When not attending breakdowns, you will support the workshop team on a rotating schedule.

Shift Pattern

• Week One:
  On‑call for 24‑hour roadside breakdown coverage.
• Week Two:
  Workshop support, 6:00am – 2:00pm (half‑hour unpaid break).
