About the role – COMMIS CHEF – Greenbank Services Club
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join the catering team at Greenbank Services Club, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting the Catering Manager/Executive Chef, Head Chef and Senior Chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests at the 2026 Queensland Club of the Year and Boutique Dining Restaurant of the Year (Gardens Steak and Seafood).
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Head Chef and Senior Chefs in the preparation, cooking and presentation of a diverse range of dishes from our menus across the 2 kitchens
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen
- Carrying out allocated kitchen tasks efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining clear communication with fellow team members and management
