Community Mental Health Nurse (Adult)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Newtown Community Mental Health Team, to work across the areas of Newtown/Machynlleth area (base to be agreed at interview).

Main duties of the job

You will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to provide specialist assessment, treatment and care to a caseload of people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties from within the local community.

The successful candidate will be required to provide care to service users within the legal frameworks of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010, the Social Services and Well‑Being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Mental Health Act 1983.

You must be enthusiastic, self‑motivated, flexible in approach, able to work autonomously as well as with statutory and non‑statutory service providers.
