Composite Paint, Prep, & Sanding Technician (Fort Erie)

Job Overview

Airbus Helicopters Canada Ltd is seeking a permanent surface treatment technician to paint composite panels in a paint booth. The role requires following AH predefined painting processes, inspecting finished parts, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety compliance.

Painting Responsibilities

• Apply primer and top paint to composite panels.
• Follow supervisor‑delivered priority list for painting tasks.
• Select all parts from the rack sharing the same paint process.
• Remove dust and contaminants using compressed air or chemical wipe.
• Paint inside the paint booth with spray guns per AH process.
• Remove parts from the booth after drying.
• Prepare the booth for the next run by wetting the floor and hosing down.
• Maintain solid knowledge of AH paint processes and specifications.
• Perform minor sanding and preparation of parts before painting when required.
