Computer Numerical Control Machinist

The CNC Programmer/Machinist is responsible for creating CAD models, importing customer supplied CAD models into Fusion and creating safe, efficient and productive programs.

Accurately set-up and operate machine tools and equipment required to manufacture, modify, and repair parts and products within the shop.

This individual is highly focused on accuracy, precision, and quality in manufacturing. Capable of prioritizing workload to achieve objectives on time.

Major Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and import customer supplied CAD models into Fusion and use them to create safe, efficient and productive 3, 4 and 5 CNC programs.
• Conduct time studies to help with the quoting process and ensure the required tooling is on hand.
• Accurately set up and operate a variety of tools including but not limited to CNC turning and CNC machining centres, to manufacture, modify, and repair various metal products. ...
