As a Master Thesis Intern, your responsibilities include:

Conducting academic research on detecting financial crime and AI applications in a payments context

Gaining a high level understanding of financial crime challenges and existing detection approaches

Translating research insights into clearly defined AI related problem statements

Designing a conceptual AI driven approach for detecting financial crime that builds on existing measures

Describing the conceptual model, decision logic, and high level system interactions

Assessing feasibility, limitations, and ethical considerations

Documenting research choices, assumptions, and outcomes in a Master thesis
