Concrete Form Carpenter

POSITION SUMMARY

This individual will perform tasks involving physical labor on highways and heavy construction projects. Reports to Project Superintendent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials.
• Perform construction tasks such as cutting, assembly, attachment, and reinforcement of forms and form systems using materials including wood, steel, and aluminum.
• Use tools such as level, shovels, saw, chalk line, hammer, ladder, and nails to complete tasks.
• Shovel wet concrete and assist in placing concrete as directed.
• Assist in moving, placing, and stripping form work.
• Maintain a clean job site by picking up all tools and equipment and securing the site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
