Construction Area Lead/Shutdown Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities
- Shutdown oversight planning, driving planning work, working with multiple stakeholders
- Coordinating contractors’ daily work activities
- Planning site use in conjunction with other contractors and site operations
- Resolving contractors’ questions and participating in the resolution of design issues
- Managing contractors’ performance of the work in line with the contract requirements
- Experience managing multi‑week shutdowns for industrial equipment
- Knowledge of the project and construction progress across all trades/scopes of work, developing and communicating a project work plan, monitoring manpower and performance against that work plan
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly construction progress updates and construction summary reports, and coordinate, document, and attend meetings
