Consultant Cellular Pathologists

We are looking to appoint a Cellular Pathology Consultant to join our friendly, well-established team.

Applicants should have completed Specialist Training and be entered on the Specialist Register of the GMC, or have a CCT or equivalent date in Histopathology within 6 months of the date of interview.

All reporting specialties will be considered however we are looking for candidates who have a keen interest in Gynae and Dermatopathology

Main duties of the job

The BCPS Cellular Pathology service is a fully consolidated service with the hub laboratory at Wolverhampton and Essential Service Laboratories (ESL) at the other sites. The only cellular pathology service provided at the ESLs is a frozen section facility. The combined surgical pathology workload for BCPS is anticipated to be approximately 92,000 surgical pathology requests per annum.
